Out with the old...

Hello my lovelies! Well, this year is nearly on it's head, and I always find myself rather reflective as the days slowly drift into a new year. But, before we get to serious, there is always a little celebration to be had! Here are a few ideas and makes to brighten up a little (or not so little!) get together with loved ones. My motto...

Let there be sparkle and glitter!!!!

A pot of glitter goes a long way, and simple jars painted with glue, and sprinkled with glitter will look dazzling with a tea light inside...

New year is a time for goodbyes...and and a cheery hello...I turned this clip board into a little announcement for the party table...

I used black paint, glitter, sequence, feathers and a few wooden numbers...

And what about a photo wall? Everyone likes taking pictures to mark the occasion, and why not add some props like blackboards, with new year's resolutions written on them? The kids and I have already played with it!

A few more decorations...Cut-out hearts on fishing line...Tissue pom-poms...feathers dipped in gold and glitter to brighten up the table...twigs painted white, and adorned with more sparkle...Go to town!

This year we have decided to have some fun seeing out the old year, and welcoming in the new. I will share more snaps of our celebrations once they've been, but for now, I'd like to wish you and yours the very best for 2014. May you have a dazzlingly blessed year!

Tania ♥

  2. Enchantingly fabulous New Year's decor!!! I'm eager to wave good bye to 2013 (it was far from the best year ever), but even with that sense of zeal for the coming year, I'm taking time this week to reflect on the positives and the best memories of the past 12 months. They, sparkling like your beautiful glitter here, are there, if one looks hard enough.
